Reins of Courage
Mission & Story
Our mission, values, and the philosophy behind Reins of Courage — an initiative in formation for Israeli veterans and their families.
Our mission
Reins of Courage is being created as a healing farm for veterans and their families — a place where horses, open land, purpose, and family support come together in courage, trust, dignity, and belonging. Programs are in development.
The transition home can bring isolation, disrupted routines, stress, grief, and challenges that affect entire families. Reins of Courage is designed around a simple belief: healing should not happen alone.

Our values
Dignity first
People are met as people. No one is defined by a diagnosis or asked to prove their pain.
Consent and confidentiality
Personal information and personal stories are shared only with informed, revocable permission.
Honest claims
We publish what is true today and label what is still a plan. No promised outcomes, no borrowed credibility.
Family included
Partners, parents, and children are part of the healing journey, not visitors to it.
Stewardship
Land, animals, and donated funds are cared for transparently and reported honestly.
Calm over urgency
Nothing about this place should feel like pressure — not the programs, and not the way we ask for help.
Manifesto
- We believe the battle after the battle is real, and that no one should fight it alone.
- We believe land can hold what words cannot yet say.
- We believe purpose is medicine, and that routine, animals, and open sky are part of the treatment plan.
- We believe families heal together, and that support must include the people who wait at home.
- We believe in professional care with clear boundaries, and in saying plainly what we do not yet know.
- We believe hope takes root here.
